Keith Harvey is one of the most experienced Invisalign clinicians in the UK and is a Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider. He was one of the first orthodontists in the country to train in the Invisalign system, having attended the first-ever UK Invisalign training program. Keith was a director of Total Orthodontics before it became part of Bupa Dental Care.
Keith works at Total Orthodontics Tunbridge Wells, which was the winner of the Patient Care Award for the South East at the Dentistry Awards 2024. Keith is also part of Aligner Intelligence, a team of specialist orthodontists who mentor and support dentists providing aligner treatment.
Keith studied dentistry at University College Hospital, London, graduating with honors and a distinction in 1988. He then entered general dental practice obtaining his vocational training certificate. During the next three years, Keith worked in various senior house officer and registrar posts in oral and maxillofacial surgery and became a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and England.
Keith then joined the three-year postgraduate orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital. In 1996, Keith was awarded an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of London and a Membership in Orthodontics of The Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council.
Keith is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and a past of the East Sussex Orthodontic Study Group. He has presented his orthodontic research to the British Society of Dental Research and has lectured to many dental groups, both nationally and internationally. In 2023, Keith Harvey received an award from Invisalign in recognition of his completion of over 500 Invisalign aligner treatments.

Richard has a keen interest in treating complex adult multidisciplinary cases and is a Platinum Invisalign Provider. Richard also works at Total Orthodontics Tonbridge.
Richard studied dentistry at King’s College London and qualified in 1992. Following a house officer post, he then spent two years as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at hospitals in Reading and Brighton.During this time, he was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Richard then worked in general dental practice in South London before starting his three-year postgraduate orthodontic training course at Guy’s Hospital. He was awarded an MSc degree from the University of London and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in September 2000. This allowed him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council. He has worked in specialist orthodontic practice ever since.
Richard is a member of the British Dental Association, the British Orthodontic Society, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the British Lingual Orthodontic Society. He has been chairman of the Tunbridge Wells Orthodontic Study Group, membership secretary of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society, editor of British Orthodontic Society and director of external relations at the British Orthodontic Society.
Richard was previously a director of Total Orthodontics and has lectured nationally on a variety of orthodontic topics including lingual braces and Invisalign treatment.

Hannah joined our practice in 2011 as a dental nurse and has since qualified as an orthodontic therapist.Hannah started her dental nurse training in 2009 at King’s College Hospital and gained an NVQ level 3 in dental nursing. After qualifying as a nurse, Hannah completed additional qualifications in radiography, impression taking and clinical photography qualifications.
Hannah later became the lead nurse at Total Orthodontics Brighton, before embarking on the orthodontic therapy course and qualifying from the Royal College of Surgeons, London, in 2016.Alongside working at our practice, Hannah also works at Total Orthodontics Sevenoaks and Crawley, treating under the supervision of an orthodontist.

Lorraine joined the Total Orthodontics team in 2002 following several years working at Guy’s Hospital. She qualified in 1997 and attained her dental radiology qualification in 2006. She went on to achieve her orthodontic nursing qualification at Kings’ Hospital in 2008.

Frederika Gilbert, known as Freddie, is our lead dental nurse and first joined us in July 2021 as an apprentice dental nurse. She completed her dental nursing qualification in July 2023, passing her exams with a distinction. She then completed her radiography course in October 2024 and subsequently became our lead dental nurse in November 2024. She is looking forward to a long career in orthodontic dental nursing. Prior to working for Total Orthodontics, she worked at a doggy daycare. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two cats Jimmy and Rosie.
Lead Dental Nurse
Anne joined Total Orthodontics Eastbourne in 2013 as a dental nurse and has also worked at Total Orthodontics Uckfield and Haywards Heath as a receptionist, treatment coordinator then assistant manager. She has been our practice manager since 2018.
Practice Manager
Having worked in the retail world for 14 years, Amy brings a strong customer service presence for our patients and their families. Away from the practice, Amy loves to bake cakes or biscuits and loves to cook meals for family and friends. She also enjoys going to the cinema or watch the latest film on streaming services.
Receptionist
Julia Constable joined our practice in May 2025, and her 40 year background in hospitality and customer service enables her to enhance the customer service we provide to our patients and their families. Outside of work, Julia sings in two choirs in the local area and loves a walk with her dog Balu. She has also taken up running in the last year and completed a few charity runs.
