Indiya Sangani

Training and qualifications

Dr Indiya Sangani graduated from King’s College London in 2008. After completing her vocational training, she undertook her first senior house officer post in maxillofacial and oral surgery in Cornwall. She later completed specialist orthodontic training at King’s College Hospital and St George’s Hospital, qualifying as a specialist orthodontist in 2017.

Indiya’s research has been published nationally and internationally. She has served as Regional Clinical Lead for Orthodontics at Bupa Dental Care and worked at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Working across both NHS and private practice, Indiya is passionate about the important link between good oral health and overall health and wellbeing. She has extensive experience in treating both children and adults, using conventional fixed appliances and Invisalign aligners, and with expertise in managing complex orthodontic cases.

Indiya currently works as lead specialist orthodontist at Total Orthodontics in Maidstone and Lewisham and is developing her own private practice in London.

Dr Sangani is a highly experienced Specialist Orthodontist offering a comprehensive range of brace treatments, including Invisalign First and fixed metal and ceramic braces. She remains at the forefront of the latest innovations in orthodontics and is committed to delivering exceptional standards of care.

Outside of work, Indiya enjoys spending time with her family and keeping active at the gym.

Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy University of Warwick 2016, National Certificate NEBDSA 1990

Kelly qualified as a dental nurse in 1990 and, in 2002, gained her certificate in dental radiography. She then trained as an orthodontic therapist and went on to gain qualifications in advanced orthodontic nursing in 2015. The following year, Kelly completed her orthodontic therapy qualification.

Tilly has always been interested in a career in dentistry. Having qualified as a dental nurse, Tilly graduated as an orthodontic therapist in 2015. She loves her job and seeing the amazing results of her patients’ treatment.

Gemma has worked in dentistry since 2007. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2010 and soon realised that she wanted to focus on orthodontics at a specialist practice. Gemma joined our team in 2012 and was promoted to lead dental nurse in 2019. Gemma enjoys the variety that this job involves.
