Jiten uses a variety of different orthodontic systems to achieve results including Invisalign aligners, Carriere Motion braces, as well as twin block, ceramic and metal fixed braces.
Jiten’s passion for dentistry began before he started his dental studies, when he was awarded a science bursary by the Nuffield Foundation and given the opportunity to work on a research project within Guy’s Hospital. He then undertook his dental studies at the University of Birmingham. After qualifying as a dentist in 2008, Jiten spent several years working across hospitals in South Wales, Bristol and East Grinstead acquiring further skills in general, paediatric, restorative and community dentistry. He also gained experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and in orthodontics. During these years, Jiten was awarded the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He then joined the three-year orthodontic postgraduate training programme at Cardiff Dental Hospital. He was awarded an MSc degree in orthodontics, with distinction, as well as Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This allowed him to become a registered specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council.
Jiten’s research has been presented at local and international conferences, winning a prize at the International Orthodontic Conference in 2015. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and currently works as a specialist orthodontist across practices in London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Jiten enjoys spending time with his patients to ensure they fully understand all aspects of their treatment and aims to provide a relaxed environment for his patients.
