Louise joined us in 2013 and has worked as a specialist orthodontist in various locations across Northern Ireland and the North West of England.
Louise qualified from the University of Manchester in 2003. After vocational training and completing a six-month maxillofacial senior house officer (SHO) rotation at Royal Blackburn Infirmary, she undertook further SHO training at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital. Here, Louise taught paediatric and adult restorative dentistry to undergraduate dental students for four years. She also provided a paediatric extraction service under both general anaesthesia and inhalation sedation.
During this time, she gained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and completed her Membership in Orthodontics in 2012, allowing her to enter the GDC’s specialist list. She successfully completed her MSc in Orthodontics in 2013.

Hilpa has been straightening teeth using a variety of orthodontic treatments since 2004. She prides herself on her friendly, down to earth approach.
Hilpa graduated from the University of Manchester in 2000. She worked in general practice alongside various consultants at Manchester Dental Hospital, and in community clinics, before embarking on a career in orthodontics in 2004. Hilpa has her MFDS qualification from both the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Edinburgh and has an MSc in Orthodontics. She has been using a range of teeth straightening treatments, including Invisalign, Damon and lingual appliances, since 2004.
As well as working at Total Orthodontics Stockport, Hilpa works at Total Orthodontics Wigan and at Bupa Dental Care Congleton.

Lisa joined Total Orthodontics in 2003 as a trainee dental nurse. Since then, she has worked mostly in orthodontics, taking a break from work in general practice for a few years in 2005. Lisa returned to our practice in 2009 and, in 2018, she became the private treatment coordinator for the practice. In 2019, Lisa started training to become an orthodontic therapist at the University of Central Lancashire, qualifying in 2020.

Kelly’s dental career started in 2002, when she trained as a dental nurse. She worked in a range of NHS, private and military practices and then joined the maxillofacial department of a local hospital. After years of nursing, Kelly then focused on orthodontic therapy. She has discovered a passion for conducting audits and training dental nurses. After 16 years in the South West, Kelly and her family have since returned to the North West.
