Training and qualifications
Dr Rasha El-Oshar graduated with distinction in 2005 from the University of Benghazi and was awarded a scholarship to pursue postgraduate training at the University of Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute. In 2011, she achieved honours in her Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Orthodontics, and in 2012, she gained Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MOrth RCSEd).
Rasha has extensive experience as a consultant, specialist orthodontist, and lecturer at Benghazi University, where she taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She later transitioned into clinical practice, focusing on delivering high-quality orthodontic care.

Lindsay Stansall is an experienced orthodontic therapist working alongside our team of specialists. She began her career in 1995, qualifying as a dental nurse at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, and later enhanced her expertise with an additional qualification in dental radiography.
In 2007, Lindsay joined our practice as a senior dental nurse, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to patient care. Her passion for orthodontics led her to complete advanced training in 2011 at Leeds University and the Royal College of Surgeons in London, earning her qualification as an orthodontic therapist.
With her extensive experience and commitment to excellence, Lindsay plays a key role in delivering outstanding orthodontic care to our patients under the prescription of our specialists.
Orthodontic Therapist

Paris Oldfield is an experienced orthodontic therapist who works alongside our specialists and has been working in dentistry since 2009. In 2011, she qualified as a dental nurse before advancing her career and qualifying as an orthodontic therapist from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 2018.
In addition to her role at Total Orthodontics Sheffield, Paris also works at Montagu Hospital in their orthodontic department, gaining valuable experience in complex and multidisciplinary cases.
With a wealth of knowledge in orthodontics, she works closely with our specialists, ensuring high-quality care and support for every patient.

With over a decade of experience, Dr Wiqas Malik works across orthodontics and private cosmetic dentistry. His passion for orthodontics led him to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics in 2023. Wiqas now collaborates closely with our specialist team, delivering both orthodontic treatments and cosmetic procedures.

Samantha Taylor, known as Sam, joined Total Orthodontics in 2013 as a receptionist. Her curiosity about life behind the surgery doors led her to qualify as a dental nurse in 2019. Over the years, Sam has gained extensive knowledge in orthodontics and has even visited Invisalign HQ, completing the Practice Team Essentials course, making her our Invisalign champion.
Sam is passionate about patient care and is especially skilled at putting nervous patients at ease, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Lead Dental Nurse

Chloe Roberts began her dental career in 2019, working in a general practice where she developed a strong foundation in patient care. In 2021, she followed her passion for orthodontics and has since been dedicated to supporting patients on their orthodontic journeys.
Radiography qualified and always eager to grow, Chloe joined our team in 2023. She is currently working towards her orthodontic nursing qualification, with the goal of becoming an orthodontic therapist in the near future.
Dental Nurse

Caitlin Sterland qualified as a dental nurse in 2020 and joined Total Orthodontics in 2025. Before becoming a permanent member of the team, she worked with us on numerous occasions through a locum dental nursing agency. This experience gave her a wealth of knowledge and adaptability, having worked alongside a variety of dentists, orthodontists, and treatment types.
Caitlin is currently working towards her radiography qualification and is already proving to be a fantastic addition to our team.

Perrie Watson joined Total Orthodontics in 2014 and has held a variety of roles, including dental nurse, treatment coordinator and practice coordinator. In 2015, she completed the Bupa Practice Managers Academy and is now our registered practice manager, leading the team with dedication and experience.
Perrie began her dental career in 2007 after qualifying as a dental nurse at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. She later worked in general practice, gaining additional post-qualifications before joining Total Orthodontics. Passionate about supporting and empowering her team, Perrie ensures they have the tools and guidance needed to deliver the best patient care and experience to everyone who visits Total Orthodontics.
Practice Manager
Katherine Oxley, known to patients as Kathy, joined Total Orthodontics in 2019 and brought with her over 10 years of experience in dentistry. She is now our dedicated treatment coordinator, working three days a week to support patients throughout their orthodontic journey.
Kathy is passionate about providing a smooth and reassuring experience for every patient. She ensures there is always a friendly point of contact available for any questions that may arise, helping each patient feel informed and confident on their path to a straighter smile.

Nicola Fields joined Total Orthodontics in 2006 and has gained a wealth of knowledge over the years. She knows the practice inside out and plays a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. Working closely with our practice manager, Nicola helps create a seamless experience for patients, making sure they receive the care and support needed to achieve the smile they’ve always wanted.

You’ll find us to the right of the Berkley Precinct on Ecclesall Road, between K2 Hairdressers and Pizza Express. There’s plenty of pay and display parking nearby if you’re driving to us. Buses serving routes 1, 272, 65, 83A and 88 stop right outside the practice and Sheffield Station is eight minutes away by car. There’s a bike rack at Berkley Precinct next door.
