Michael has been working exclusively in orthodontics for over 15 years and has treated more than 3,000 cases.
Michael studied dentistry at Newcastle Dental School, qualifying in 2001, before undertaking further training in maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry. He completed his postgraduate orthodontic training at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, where he achieved his specialist qualifications, including his master’s degree, in 2007. Following this, he undertook consultant training in Middlesbrough before leaving the hospital service to work in specialist orthodontic practice.
Michael is experienced in all brace systems and is an Invisalign Platinum provider. He has published research on aesthetic braces and frequently lectures to other dental professionals.

James Spencer is an orthodontist whose main area of interest is in treating severe orthodontic problems, including those that involve jaw surgery.
James qualified as a dentist from the University of Bristol in 1987, and then undertook his specialist orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. James qualified in 1996 and was awarded the gold medal for being the outstanding candidate in his specialty examinations by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then completed further training to become a consultant orthodontist.
Alongside working at the practice, James is also an NHS consultant at Pinderfields General Hospital. He is currently a postgraduate dental dean at the Yorkshire Deanery and was the training programme director for orthodontics in Yorkshire.
James was a previous secretary of the Consultant Orthodontists Group of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and also was a member of the BOS Conference Committee and Developments and Standards Committee. He was chairman of the Conference and Meetings Committee of the BOS between 2011 and 2012. James is also a member of the sleep apnoea clinic at Pinderfields Hospital.

Guillermo Dominguez is an implant dentist with a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, whose skills and experience allow him to restore his patients’ confident smiles.
Training and qualifications
Guillermo studied dentistry at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. His interest in implantology began in 2009 when he completed a course in dental implantology at the University of Cambridge. The following year, Guillermo achieved a diploma of restorative dentistry at the University of Leeds. Guillermo then returned to Madrid and completed a master’s qualification in advanced oral implantology at Universidad Europea de Madrid. This involved two periods of training at the NYU University, New York.
