NHS care at Total Orthodontics is available to under 18s who require treatment for dental health reasons, such as severe crowding or protrusion of the teeth. Unfortunately, treatment for more cosmetic problems is not usually available on the NHS.
To learn more about your options on the NHS, please visit our NHS Orthodontic Care page.
For patients under the age of 18 who do not qualify for NHS orthodontic care, those who are on a long waiting list, or would prefer a more discreet brace, we offer a treatment called Orthodontic Essentials*. This service provides private teeth straightening, for £1795 – a lower price than regular private braces.
As with NHS care, this treatment uses traditional wire braces, rather than our invisible brace options. There is also the option to upgrade to more discreet tooth-coloured brackets on the upper teeth, if preferred. As always, treatment is carried out by our experienced team of specialist orthodontists and orthodontic therapists.
Orthodontic Essentials is currently offered at the practices listed below:
You can contact your nearest practice directly to arrange a private orthodontic consultation – you don’t need to be referred to us by your dentist.
If you’re looking for a wider range of private orthodontic treatment, we also offer several types of invisible braces.
* Terms and conditions: Orthodontic Essentials is available to patients aged 18 and under. Prices cover only the essential orthodontic treatment required to straighten your teeth. If a functional brace is required, in order to align jaw prior to a fixed
brace being fitted, an additional fee will be charged. You will be advised if you require a functional brace at your initial consultation. Prices and treatment options available may vary depending on location.
