Here at Total Orthodontics in Brighton we are big fans of the Invisalign brace, and we’ve seen its popularity soar in recent years, as a result of its ability to transform smiles discreetly and comfortably.
Invisalign consists of a series of virtually removable plastic aligners, which are created to fit your teeth exactly. Every two weeks you change your aligners for the next ones in the sequence, gradually moving your teeth towards a more confident smile. Each aligner is worn for between 20 and 22 hours a day and they should only be removed for eating and tooth brushing.
At Total Orthodontics in Brighton our specialist orthodontists are certified users of Invisalign and we work closely with the team from Invisalign, keeping us up-to-date on the latest developments. You may be surprised to learn that there are a few different Invisalign braces for you to choose from. These include the well-known Invisalign Full, as well as Invisalign Teen, Invisalign Lite and the newest member of the Invisalign family – Invisalign i7.
Many of our adult patients want straight teeth but are unsure about committing to fixed braces. For them, Invisalign provides the ideal solution. They love the fact that Invisalign aligners are virtually undetectable, and because they’re removable it’s easy to keep teeth clean and healthy throughout treatment.
I’m really pleased I opted for Invisalign; they are easy to wear and far less obtrusive than the alternatives, you don’t notice you are wearing them after a while.

Another great benefit of Invisalign is that you’ll be able to see what your teeth will look like at the end of your treatment, before your braces have even been fitted. Using ClinCheck® computer software your specialist orthodontist will show you a representation of your end result, so you know what to expect from your treatment and can keep your end goal firmly in sight.
Our Invisalign fees are fully inclusive, and treatment includes two years of follow-up care once you’ve finished wearing your aligners. You’ll also receive customised fixed and removable retainers to ensure your teeth stay straight and you keep smiling. Most importantly, you’ll be treated by a specialist orthodontist (the official title for a teeth straightening expert), so you can be assured that your smile is in good hands.
