Invisalign® gets better & better

Here at Total Orthodontics we are strong advocates of Invisalign, not least because of its popularity amongst our image-conscious patients, who love the fact that its clear, removable aligners are virtually invisible.

But as much as we want you to be happy with the look of your brace, what’s most important is the end result of your treatment – a beautiful smile for years to come.

That’s why we’re continually excited by new innovations from the product development team at Align Technology, makers of Invisalign.

Some of our favourite developments include SmartTrack® aligner material and ClinCheck® virtual treatment planning. SmartTrack® is a more flexible aligner material that improves our control of tooth movement whilst making your treatment more comfortable. ClinCheck® allows us to show you how your teeth should move during your treatment using virtual 3D software – so you can start to visualise your new smile.

Most recently, Align launched ‘Invisalign G5’ which gives us even more control over tooth movements and enables us to treat deep bites (where the lower teeth are covered by the upper teeth) more effectively, with the addition of new SmartForce attachments and precision aligner bite ramps.

With deep bites affecting approximately 45 percent of adults and teenagers seeking orthodontic treatment* these improvements will allow us to treat more patients than ever with Invisalign aligners.

Excitingly, our very own Specialist Orthodontist John Costello is a member of the UK Invisalign Advisory Board, so we’ll have the opportunity to help shape future innovations and be the first to hear about new developments.
