Keith studied dentistry at University College Hospital, London graduating
with honours and a distinction 1988. He then entered general dental
practice obtaining his vocational training certificate. During the next three
years, Keith worked in various senior house officer and registrar posts in
oral and maxillofacial surgery and became a Fellow of the Royal Colleges
of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and England.
Keith then joined the three-year postgraduate orthodontic training
programme at the Eastman Dental Hospital. In 1996, Keith was awarded
an MSc in orthodontics from the University of London and Membership in
Orthodontics of The Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh
allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General
Dental Council.
Keith is a past chairman of the East Sussex Orthodontic Study Group
and is one of the directors of Total Orthodontics. He is a member of the
British Orthodontic Society, the European Orthodontic Society, the World
Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
He has presented his orthodontic research to the British Society of Dental
Research and has lectured to many dental groups around the country.
Keith’s main clinical interests are the treatment of adult patients and the
use of the latest generation low force fixed appliance techniques. He is
very involved in postgraduate teaching and regularly lectures at various
courses and seminars.
