Melissa Chen Wade- BDS MSc FDS RCS MOrth RCS

Melissa studied dentistry at Bristol University qualifying in 1990.
She spent three years in specialist hospital posts gaining further
postgraduate experience in Maxillofacial Surgery, Child Dental Health,
Oral Medicine and Restorative Dentistry. She has also worked as a
general dental practitioner. In 1993 she was awarded the Fellowship in
Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Melissa completed her three year orthodontic training at the Eastman
Dental Hospital and was awarded her MSc degree in Orthodontics in
1996 and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of
Surgeons of England in 1997. She followed with further pre-consultant
training in all aspects of orthodontic care at Guy's and Orpington
Hospitals gaining the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2000.
Her name is on the register of specialist orthodontists at the General
Dental Council.
Melissa has been an associate with Total Orthodontics since 2002 and
works in both our Uckfield and Crawley practices. She is a member of
the British and European Orthodontic Societies and regularly teaches
to postgraduate orthodontic trainees.
